ODE to 535
Hedgehog, Chameleons, Lizards,
Hamsters, geckos, gee-wizards,
An interesting collection for sure,
Mom likes the cats on or off the furniture.
Ms. Prickles, Slow-Mo, Slow-Joe,
Unnamed critters darting to & fro,
Eating crickets with a "crunch",
Lowest on this food chain's lunch.
We are hamsters three,
You've not seen us pee,
Cheeks are stuffed you can tell,
We are clean; little smell.
Dad's favorites look prehistoric,
Could they be bucolic?
Miniature dinosaurs, they are
A very slow moving pair.
Lizards and geckos must
Run and hide. I trust.
It's their nature for survival.
Only one life -- no revival.
Bob's now an indoor cat.
He's been fingered, imagine that!
No digging in the soft garden
Have to wait for ground to harden.
Boo's a shy silent cat.
Tail swings wide, beware that
She's a picky small eater
Lap cat, if not now, later.
The human part of managire
Well, call it a pot porri,
Heather, Weylan, a great pair
Fun, Loving, Kind:Not that rare
Add Intelligent,complimentary
computer savey,negative monetary
both fleet footed, left handed
tender hearted, now bonded
Rare qualities to find together
We wish you the best, Heather
And Weylan in your lives as friends
and lovers in future portends
A good time was had by all.
We loved the Gurnee Mills Mall.
The Rain Forest Cafe was amazing.
We didn't have time for a lazing
At Yaohan's we browsed and ate
The museum of Science and Industry was first rate
Lawry's prime rib and stuff was great
For the train we were almost late.
